NO. 2 OREGON ARRIVES IN DALLAS – Ducks Equipment Staff Sets Up Team Hotel Prior to Monday’s College Football National Championship
The No. 2 seed Oregon Ducks have arrived in Texas for college footballs national championship.
Prior to the teams arrival on their charter flight, Oregon’s support staff of two tractor-trailer rigs along with equipment staff and interns arrived a day early to set up the Ducks team hotel and practice facility.
Early Friday, Director of Equipment Operations Aaron Wasson and his team began unloading the Ducks gear at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine Texas which is the official Oregon team hotel during their four day stay in north Texas.
Oregon Duck Football News had the opportunity to catch up with Wasson and his team to get a behind-the-scenes look at what’s involved in setting up the Ducks team hotel ( meeting rooms, treatment rooms, etc ) prior to Monday’s national championship with the Buckeyes.
ODFN put together a short video with Wasson and Duck truck driver Del Steyaert to talk about the Ducks team set up and the logistics of moving equipment from Eugene, Oregon to Dallas, Texas.
