The No. 2 Oregon Ducks ( 3-0 / 0-0 ) went back to work Monday to begin their preparations for the Cal Bears ( 1-2 / 0-0 ).
After a four day break during the Ducks bye week, Helfrich and his team reconvened in the Moshofsky Center Monday afternoon practicing in full pads.
In his post practice press briefing, Helfrich said his teams effort was ‘excellent’ and they seemed to have a bit more spring in their step as the coaching staff began inserting the game plan for the Bears who the Ducks will face Saturday evening in Autzen Stadium.
“Today was a really good effort” said Helfrich.
“Everybody had a spring in their step,…and that’s an indication of being fresh and getting back to a game week routine. I thought in all three fazes there was tremendous effort.”
