The hype for the 42nd Annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl continued on Sunday as both No. 4 Oregon and No. 5 Kansas State participated in their daily press briefing held at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn – the official Fiesta Bowl media hotel in Scottsdale Arizona.
At the microphone Sunday morning were representatives of Oregon’s defense and Kansas States offense to discuss next Thursday’s Big 12 / Pac-12 match-up between the Ducks ( 11-1 ) and the Wildcats also 11-1.
On hand for the Ducks was defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti, DE Dion Jordan, LB Michael Clay, DT Taylor Hart and CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu.
For Kansas State, the Wildcats provided co-offensive coordinators Dana Dimel and Del Miller, as well as Heisman Trophy candidate ( QB ) Collin Klein and former Duck ( WR ) Chris Harper.
National and local reporters covering each football program had 45 minutes with each team contingent for casual Q & A sessions on a variety of topics.
Also, per BCS rules, reporters were allowed into Oregon’s practice session for the first 20 minutes to shoot stills and video. At the tail end of the enclosed video, we’ve provided an inside peek into the Ducks practice drills while reporters were on-site.
